Who we are
Botanivault is an informational website about plants and gardening, run by Khizr, its owner and editor. For privacy questions or requests, email Meharkhizer88@gmail.com or use our Contact Us page. This notice explains what information may be processed when you visit the site or contact us.
Information we collect
When you send a message through our Contact page, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you provide. Messages are stored in a private Contact Messages area in WordPress so authorized administrators can review and respond. If a working site contact email is configured, a copy may also be sent there. Do not include passwords or sensitive personal information in a message.
Our hosting service may process basic technical information in server and security logs, such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, referring page and date and time. The host controls the operation and retention of those logs.
Cookies and similar technologies
Botanivault does not require visitor accounts. WordPress may use necessary cookies for site administration, login and related features. If we add analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies, we will update this policy and provide choices or consent controls where required.
Advertising and Google
Botanivault does not currently serve Google AdSense ads. If advertising is enabled, the cookie practices described below will apply.

Before personalized ads are enabled for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, as Google requires, and update this notice to match the services actually in use.
How we use and share information
We use contact details to read and respond to messages, protect the site and maintain its operation. We do not sell contact-form messages. Information may be processed by the hosting and email services needed to operate the site, or disclosed where required by law.
Retention and security
Contact messages remain in the private WordPress inbox until an authorized administrator deletes them. We do not currently run an automatic deletion schedule. Hosting logs and backups may have separate retention periods set by the hosting provider. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Botanivault is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information.
Your choices and requests
Depending on your location, you may have privacy rights concerning personal information we hold. To ask a question or request access, correction or deletion of a contact message, use our Contact page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this notice when the site or its services change. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
